MRI Overseas Property has been successfully renting properties both long and short term for several years. With our international client base and well-established reputation, we are considered to be at the forefront of the property rental business not only in Spain but across much of Europe.

Long-term rentals
Our long-term rental contracts on the Costa del Sol (for example) all run for 11 months and we ask for two months’ deposit and one month’s rent in advance. We always obtain two references: one from a current employer and a character reference. We also ask for bank statements as proof of legitimacy.
The average rental income for a two-bedroom property in Puerto Banús is between €1,600 and €2,000 per month. For a three-bedroom property it is between €1,800 and €2,200 per month. Our commission for a long-term rental is one month’s rent.
Short-term rentals
MRI Overseas Property is the only company to have a dedicated rental department that has its own property management scheme. We have a choice of contract companies we use for cleaning and maintenance and also offer an airport pickup service, welcome packs, meet-and-greet and valet services.
We always get cash deposits from clients staying in our properties, and we expect to receive the same amounts for a weekly rental high season as we do monthly on a long-term contract.
